This website is aimed to open a discussion as to whether there is a golden opportunity to introduce a cheap and eco-friendly form of wheeled sport. To all intents and purposes it is motor sport with no engine. Soapbox running is not new but it has seen a jovial revival in recent years, the best known event being the Red Bull Soapbox Challenge and a lunch break demonstration at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Many of these soapboxes are just sheer fun on wheels but I feel there is a possible opportunity to go one step further and introduce competitive competition including different surfaces. Please read on...
